A few years ago, I decided that my New Years resolution was to take a picture a day. Which I tried, but didn't quite work out. Mostly because I didn't have a digital camera and I had to wait for my pictures to develop to see the finished results. But now that we're inundated with digital cameras, I thought it would be fun to try this project out again. Except this time, it's gonna be a group of us doing this and posting it on this blog.
There are no major rules to follow. Some editing of the work is allowed, like cropping, resizing, cleaning-up - but editing should be kept to a minimum. If we can't post everyday with a picture, it's no biggie, but we should post a picture for everyday when we can. For example, if I can't post during the weekend, well, on Monday night, I'll post my Saturday, Sunday, and Monday pictures. The idea is just to make sure we include a picture for each day. The picture can be on any subject, people, scenery, objects, whatever. Just something you find interesting or sums up the day.
It's not January 1st yet, but I'm going to post a picture I took in this past year, just to demonstrate maybe how we should post our pictures:

So. You post your picture (saved either on your computer or online), give it a name, a date, and then your name (or online name, I'll be using Mofo.)
The official Fotografia al Dia project will start January 1st, but if anyone wants to test it out, go for it. And! Let's encourage each other by leaving comments on each other's pictures. This will hopefully make 2007 an interesting and memorable year.
Last thing, if any of you would like to invite other people, let me know so I can extend an invitation to them.
Happy Picture Taking!

very nice... i'm very much looking forward to this! i'm getting very trigger happy; waiting till the 1st is KILLING me.
I love this idea. I'll probably post each picture before I go to bed, it will give me some kind of closure for every day that passes.
